Having grown up on Lake Erie, I love lake towns like Chicago and Toronto, and both have been favorite destinations of mine for years. In Toronto, they celebrated St. Patrick's Day all weekend. Sunday there was a parade and green was everywhere...We shopped our way up and down Yonge Street. Steve Jobs will be happy to learn that the busiest store we visited was the Apple Store. There wasn't a free MacBook or iPod station in the store, as shoppers crowded in front of monitors and speakers everywhere. It was cold, but the food and drinks provided all the necessary warmth. A bar on Front Street called The Loose Moose was great fun...Here are some pics from the weekend...
