Home School Students are welcome to discover the secrets of old fashioned springtime duties at HISTORIC ZOAR VILLAGE'S SPRING HOME SCHOOL DAY on Fri. Apr. 25th from 10 am - 4 pm. Day features a self-guided tour that includes activities; hands-on activities; and learning about the history and religion of the Zoarites. The Green Parks and Recreation Division is hosting the 3rd ANNUAL - "BRING YOUR BIKE TO BOETTLER FAMILY EVENT" on Sat. Apr. 26th from 10 am - noon. Boettler Park Pavilion is located near the entrance of Southgate Park. The event is free, open to all ages, and will include a pre-season "tune-up" including brake adjustments, chain cleaning and seat and tire checks. The first children's derby of the season is the Jack Cullen Memorial Towpath Trail TROUT DERBY at Lock 4 Park along the Ohio & Erie Canalway Towpath Trail south of Canal Fulton. Project REBUILD is accepting applications from young men and women between 16 and 24 years of age whom are interested in pursuing training in workforce development and construction technologies. The next class begins May 12th. To be eligible, you must be between the ages of 16 and 24, need a high school diploma, be working towards a GED or be eligible to attain a GED.
