St. John's Catholic Church (at the corner of 6th North and McKinley Ave. in Canton) will be hosting its ANNUAL FREE THANKSGIVING DAY DINNER on Thurs. Nov. 27th from 11 am - 1 pm and everyone is welcome.  Questions, call 330 802-6628.

Mercy Heatlh Center of Lake will be offering low-cost blood screenings on Fri. Nov. 28th from 7 - 11 am at the Center on King Church Ave. SW in Uniontown.  No appointments necessary but a 12-hour fast is recommended for more accurate results.  For more info, call 330 877-5000.

The Massillon Museum will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will re-open during regular hours for the remainder of the holiday weekend -- Fri. and Sat. Nov. 28th and 29th from 9:30 am - 5 pm; and Sun. Nov. 30th from 2 - 5 pm.    In addition to viewing all the special art exhibits; miniature Immel Circus; large scale model of St. Mary's Church; on Black Friday, from 9:30 - 10:30 am, the Museum will offer special Museum memberships.   Call 330 833-4061 for additional details.

The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and re-open on Fri. Stark County Hunger Task Force's EMERGENCY PANTRY at 9th St. Community Goodwill Campus will be closed on Thurs. Nov. 27th (Thanksgiving Day) and Fri. Nov. 28th.  The pantry will resume regular hours beginning Dec. 1st from 9:15 am - 3:35 pm.    Any further questions, please call 330 455-6667.

The Massillon Women's Club will be hosting A HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE at FIVE OAKS on Sat. Nov. 29th from 10 am - 3 pm with a cookie walk; lunch at their cafe; and self tours of the home.  All are welcome and no reservations are needed.    Call for more info at 330 809-0167.

Beech Creek Botanical Garden  & Nature Preserve will be sponsoring a FRESH WILLIAMSBURG WREATH WORKSHOP on Sat. The Louisville Area YMCA is currently collecting items to stuff stockings for the brave soldiers overseas.  The deadline has been extended through Wed. The City of Green's ANNUAL CHRISTMAS-at-TOWN PARK HOLIDAY EVENT is Sat. Dec. 6th from 5 - 7 pm with the 3rd ANNUAL RUDOLPH 1/2 MILE FUN RUN/WALK at 4 pm.  Families and individuals are encouraged to dress-up in Christmas costumes for the run/walk.   The run/walk is free; however registration is required by going to:    www.cityofgreen.org
