The Canton Police Dept. is launching TIP 411, an internet based tool that enbables the public to text message an anonymous tip to police, and lets the police respond back creating a two-way anonymous "Chat". The Massillon Public Library is giving their community the opportunity to donate clean, gently used paper books to go to OPERATION PAPERBACK, a non -profit organization that sends books to American troops overseas, as well as veterans and military families here at home. In honor of National Safe Boating Week (May 18th - 24th), The Stark County Power Squadron will conduct a four session safe boating course entitled "AMERICA'S BOATING COURSE 3rd EDITION", which will cover all of the requirements for state certifcation.
