Massillon Public Library is excited to offer SHAKE-IT-UP-STORY TIME, with a special emphasis on music and movement, for children ages 2 to 5 on Thursday afternoons from 1 - 1:30 pm. Children, parent or caregiver will spend time together listening to stories, singing, dancing, playing rhythm instruments, and participating in creative movement activities. The Stark County District Library is hosting a special PUPS and PAGES PROGRAM for children in Kindergarten through grade five by having kids read aloud to very non-judgmental audiences of a dog or even a bird. NAMI Stark County is offering a 10 week "PEER-to-PEER EDUCATION CLASS designed to foster learning, healing, and empowerment among adults with neurobiological brain disorders (mental illness).
