The next special exhibit at The Massillon Museum will open on Fri Feb. 27th from 6 - 8 pm.  Featuring "PAINTINGS" by Mary Lou Eberly, a lifelong resident of Massillon.   The Studio M Staff Exhibition can be seen through April 12th during regular Museum hours and if needing more info, call 330 833-4061.

The Malone University Office of Multicultural Services will sponsor A BROWN BAG LUNCHEON SERIES on "DIVERSITY" on Fri. Feb. 27th at 11:00 am in the Deuble Room of the Brehme Centennial Center on campus on Cleveland Ave. NW in Canton.  For more info, call 330 471-8239.

"MENOPAUSE the MUSICAL" is coming to The Palace Theatre with three performances - Feb. 27th - 28th.   Tickets are currently on sale by calling 330 454-8172.

Canal Fulton Public Library is hosting a "DOWNTON ABBEY TEA PARTY" on Mon. Mar. 2nd from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.   Feautring good food, fun, and trivia!  The Library is located on Market Street E. in Canal Fulton and if needing more info, call 330 854-4148.

Della Clason Sperling, research director and exhibition writer for "The Legacy of Ferdinand A. Brader", will present a program and lead a tour of the exhibition in the Keller Gallery of The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum on Mon. Mar. 2nd at 10 am.  Featuring more than 20 graphite pencil drawings by Brader.  The tea with the Curator program is $ 15 per person and includes tea/coffee, breakfast sweets, and admission to the Museum.  Call 330 455-7043 to place your required pre-paid reservations.

Auditions for "MISS NELSON is MISSING - W. G. Fry Theatre Comedy" will be held at the Players Guild Theatre on Sun. Mar. 1st from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.  The Players Guild is seeking adults ages 16 years and older for all roles.  Interested parties should visit:   www.playersguildtheatre.com for a list of requirements and for a time slot.

During the next Massillon Museum History Discussion session on Tues. Mar. 3rd from 10 am - noon, participants will talk about inventors and inventions.   Attendance is free and open to everyone; new participants are welcome at any time.  No reservations required and for more info, call 330 833-4061.

In conjunction with String, the annual festival of guitars presenty by The Ananda Center for the Arts, The Massillon Public Library will host two FREE WORKSHOPS for young people on Thursdays, Mar. 5th and Mar. 12th from 6 - 7:30 pm in the Massillon Public Library auditorium.  Open to eight to fourteen year olds and students may choose either or both of the two dates.    For more info and to place a required reservation, call 330 832-5037.

A NATURE MUSIK will be held at The Wilderness Center on Thurs. Mar. 5th from 10 - 10:45 am and on Fri. Mar. 20th from 10 - 10:45 am for children ages 2 - 4 with an adult partner.  Everyone will do basic rhythm, tonal and movement activities, all based on the seasonal nature that is happening outside the window.  $3/child for members and $ 5/child for non-members.    Visit:   www.wildernesscenter.org to place a required pre-registration.

"FILM NOIR" will be the theme of the next "Do the Mu" at the Massillon Museum on Sat. Mar. 7th from noon - 2 pm.   The workshop will complement the 2015 ReelMassillon film series, which concentrates on screening classics of the film noir genre.  Participants of all ages are invited to drop in anytime during the workshop.  No reservations are required.  Call 330 833-4061 if any questions.

Boy Scout Troop 38 is inviting everyone to their "10th ANNUAL - ALL YOU CAN EAT CHILI DINNER" on Sat. Mar. 7th from 4 - 6:30 pm at The East Sparta United Methodist Church on Pine St. in East Sparta.  $ 7 for adults;   $ 4 for kids ages 5 - 10; and free for children under age 5.  Carryout meals also available.

On Sat. Mar. 7th, The Massillon Public Library invites the public to help them celebrate two free events.  At 1 pm, folk and traditional songs will be performed by a guitar specialist.  From 2 - 4 pm, adult-child pairs who have pre-registered will participate in Family Stories through Art, a workshop led by a special artist and educator.  For more info and to pre-register, visit:  www.massillonlibrary.org   

SmArtSplash, a free family fun day of art-making, performances and a little bit of learning, returns to the Cultural Center for the Arts on Market Ave. N. in Canton on Sat.
