Take a pre-active approach to those Thanksgiving calories this year. Join everyone on Wed. Nov. 25th at 1 pm for a pre-Thanksgiving TURKEY TROT and explore the trails at Sippo Lake Park. Meet at Exploration Gateway Shelter on 21th St. NW in Perry Township.
On Fri. Nov. 27th, Jeff Risher and his reptile collection will be in Discover World at The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum in addition to many family fun events and program from 9 am - 4 pm. Take a trip back in time to early America and join everyone for a tour of The Spring Hill Historic home just east of the Lake Ave. intersection with Wales Road in Massillon. House will be open for tours on Sat. Nov. 28th; Sat. Dec. 5th; Mon. Dec. 28th; and Tues. Dec. 29th - all from 1 - 4 pm. On Nov. 28th and Dec. 5th, Santa Clause will be at the house. Everyone is invited to CHRISTMAS in ZOAR on Sat. Dec. 5th from 10 am - 6 pm and Sun. Dec. 6th from noon - 5 pm. Featuring luminary-lined brick sidewalks to explore the village and special activites; Museum buildings will feature costumed volunteers demonstrating the old way of preparing for the holidays.
The City of Green's ANNUAL CHRISTMAS-at-TOWN PARK HOLIDAY EVENT and RUDOLPH FUN RUN is Sat. Dec. 5th from 4 - 7 pm at the Central Administration Building on Town Park Blvd. The RUN/WALK is free; but registration is required at: www.cityofgreen.org Santa will arrive at 5:30 pm to light the decorations followed by fireworks.
