Now through Oct. 10th, during regular library hours, all locations of the Stark County District Library will accept entries for THE TURN DREAMS into REALITY TEEN ART CONTEST.  Open to students in grades six through 12.  Submitted artwork must be original and been created in the past year.  For an entry form and all the details, visit:   www.starklibrary.org or call 330 452-0665.

The Malone University Worldview Forum Series will open the 2014-15 academic year with "CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVES on MARY" on Mon. Sept. 8th at 7 pm in the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts on Cleveland Ave. NW in Canton.  Program is free and open to the public.     Call 330 471-8239 for additional information.

SETH'S STRIDE for CCA will be taking place on Sat. Sept. 13th from noon - 4 pm at Waco Homecoming Grounds  located on 17th Street SE in Canton.    This special 5K WALK/RUN and FAMILY FUN FEST is to raise awareness and money for The Children's Craniofacial Association.    Visit:    www.facebook.com/sethsstride if needing more info.

The City of Green Parks and Recreation Division is offering PASSPORT TO FISHING PROGRAM, a 3-hour learn to fish event, for kids ages 6 to 15 yrs. old on Sat. Runners and walkers join the battle against hunger when they stop out on the Stark Parks Middle Branch Trail from GlenOak High School for the 2nd ANNUAL BRACE AGAINST HUNGER 5K RUN / WALK on Sun.
