Some of the claims include better digestion, a healthier immune system, reduced appetite, balanced blood sugar, and even weight loss. Not so fast says the Mayo Clinic, noting there isn’t much evidence to back that up, and worse, it could wreck the enamel on your teeth plus damage your esophagus and lungs.
