A bipartisan bill which would withhold salaries from members of Congress and the White House during government shutdowns has been introduced.
The “Solidarity in Salary Act” was introduced on the House Floor, Tuesday morning, by Texas Republican Dan Crenshaw and Democrats Jared Golden, of Maine, and Max Rose, of New York.
The proposal would place daily pay for the President, Vice President, and members of Congress in escrow. The “No Budget, No Pay” bill, a similar measure, has also been introduced in the Senate.
Do you think either measure will pass?
