13-year old Mo Gaba is about to make sports history when he becomes the first person to read an NFL draft pick from a Braille card. Gaba is a Ravens superfan who frequently calls into his local radio stations to talk sports.
When he called 98Rock from his middle school on Wednesday when Ravens coach John Harbaugh called the show to invite Gaba to announce one of Baltimore’s fourth-round draft picks from the team’s draft festival on Saturday.
Gaba is also battling cancer for the fourth time and his family has set up a GoFundMe page to help with his medical expenses. He’s hoping that his Saturday announcement will kick off a career in broadcasting.
