Customer Paid It Forward When Strangers Really Needed It

A woman was going to have breakfast with her son who was leaving to go back to the army when another customer paid for their meal.   They had seen her son in uniform and wanted to thank him for his service.

What that person did not know is that the woman had just been diagnosed with cancer and saying goodbye to her son was harder than it normally was.  She says it’s ‘always hard returning my son to the army but today was especially hard not knowing if I’ll ever see him again.’    To make the moment even more meaningful, they had just moved to the area and didn’t know very many people so it made them feel welcome.  She goes on to say to the unidentified person, ‘You don’t know how much I needed your brand of sunshine today.’
