It’s hard enough for some adults to be calm when they have to have blood drawn for a blood test. But can you imagine what babies are thinking? This little girl has a serious condition and has to get blood tests regularly. Her mom says she usually cries a lot and gets very upset. So the doctor decided to try something to see if it would help calm her down. He sang to her as he drew the blood. Her reaction is so sweet! She’s relaxed and just stares at him in rapt attention.

I think this is such a testament to what music can do.
