Ellen Gave $1 Million to Good Samaritans

When you’re at an episode of “Ellen” you never know what you’re going to get, and that’s what a group of good samaritans found out when they were all part of Ellen’s studio audience.
Throughout the season Ellen had partnered with Cheerios to implore people to do good in their neighborhood, and she let the audience know that everyone there had done some type of selfless act.
Ellen then proceeded to call out different people in the audience for the good deeds they had done, and then, she dropped the bombshell.
“It’s the biggest gift I’ve ever given anybody, ever and I hope you continue to pay it forward and share all the good,” Degeneres said to the Samaritans. “Hold on to your Cheerios, because all of you are splitting one million dollars!”
It’s not known how many people were in the crowd or how the money will be split, but it was definitely a grand gesture by the folks at “Ellen.”
