Mix 94-1 at the new Goodwill at Whipple/Portage

Mix 94-1’s Matt Fantone will be at the brand-new Goodwill Attended Donation Center at the corner of Whipple & Portage in North Canton!

The ribbon cutting happens at 8:30am with the Canton Regional Chamber Of Commerce.

The 1st 50 to show up and donate an item or a bag of clothes will get a free beverage from OHM Aesthetic Coffee Truck. They’ll be on-site from 7:30am to 11am.

Stop by, bring some STUFF and hang with Matt – He’s there from 9am to 11am!

Meantime – here’s some fun facts about Goodwill:

• 10 counties served in OH and WV
• Nearly 17,000 people were served through Goodwill’s 30 different outreach programs.
• 30 missions’ programs… job training, rape crisis services, parenting programs, hot meal programs and more!
• 25 million pounds of material diverted from local landfills.
• When people donate to our stores, people are recycling those items and keeping them out of landfills.
• Those items donated to Goodwill are then sold and monies raised from the sale of those goods go towards funding our vital programs and services.
