Fire Destroys 2 Semi-Trucks at Logan Trucking

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – A big fire in SW Canton Monday evening sends up thick, black smoke visible all over the city.
The fire in the parking lot of Logan Trucking in the 3200 block of Navarre Road SW destroyed two semi-rigs and a Jeep vehicle, with heavy damage to a pickup truck.
No buildings at the company were impacted and there were no injuries.
The accidental fire started in the cab of one of the semis.
The Canton Fire Department estimates damage at $168.000.
An estimated 300 to 400 gallons of diesel fuel either burned or spilled in the fire.
The company is to contact the state EPA.
