Silver Bullet (1985)

Another Stephen King adaptation that doesn’t fully hit the mark but is still very enjoyable. It’s also got Gary Busey so you know it’s going to be wild. This is the story of a wheelchair bound boy fighting a werewolf that is terrorizing his town. It’s got a very 80’s feel to it, which has it’s charm and the ending is actually a pretty good little reveal of who the werewolf is…or was.

This is a great entry into the Corey Haim files, too. Make sure you check it out.

The Sixth Sense (1999)

Remember when M. Night Shyamalan made a REALLY good movie with a twist nobody saw coming? It was this one. Holy hell, what a ride this was. Also, it had Haley Joel Osment in a role that really just cemented his career as a one-hit wonder, along with Shyamalan.

I won’t spoil the end but honestly, if you managed to avoid it for two decades, you’ve earned the twist to not be spoiled. I certainly won’t tell you that Bruce Willis is dead the entire movie. Damn it. I’m sorry. But let’s be fair, HJO says ‘I SEE DEAD PEOPLE’ as he looks right at Bruce Willis. Was that not the tell?!
