When you break up with someone, how do you handle it when it comes to social media? Over the weekend, Miley Cyrus went off about her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth and, quite frankly, all men.

In an Instagram video rant on Sunday, she said, “I always thought I had to be gay, because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true. There are good people out there that just happen to have d**ks. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this live.” Cyrus was referring to her current beau Cody Simpson as the “one.” He was on the Instagram feed with her at the time of her statement.  She continued, “There are good men out there, guys, don’t give up. You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with d**ks out there, you’ve just got to find them. You’ve got to find a d**k that’s not a d**k, you know.”

I wonder… is this the best way to handle this situation? From someone who is currently going through a separation, I fail to see how ranting like this helps the situation as a whole. I feel there are ways to express that same sentiment that she was trying to say to her followers, but in a more constructive way.
