Later Start Times For Schools Across Ohio Means Students Can Sleep In!

Why couldn’t this happen when I was in school? Sen. Sandra R. Williams has introduced a bill into the Ohio state senate that would prohibit schools from starting before 8:30am! This isn’t a crazy idea though; California has already implemented the rule! The biggest reason for this proposed mandate is safety. Many kids walk to school in the dark with earlier start times. But, let’s be honest, the extra few minutes of sleep aren’t bad either!
