(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – An estimated inch-and-a-half of rain in one hour.

That’s what the National Weather Service says led to temporary street flooding in Massillon Wednesday evening.

In fact, Sippo Creek overflowed onto Tremont Avenue SE, which had to be closed for a short time.

There was also high water on other roadways.

The county was under a flood advisory for several hours.
