(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – National Weather Service inspectors have confirmed 17 different tornado storm tracks in nine different southern and western Ohio counties Monday night and Tuesday.

Three of the twisters were strong E-F-3s

And that number is not a record.

There were 28 tornadoes that touched down in Ohio in a one-day outbreak in July of 1992.

Meantime, they’re still trying to get back to the basics in the tornado-ravaged parts of Ohio.

Case in point, the Dayton area, where tens of thousands were still without power late on Wednesday.

And 60,000 city residents had no water service.

Many other water customers are under boil advisories.
