Ohio City Makes Election Day A Holiday

The city of Sandusky has taken an idea that many have talked about and gone through with executing it. Moving forward, national election days are going to be considered municipal holidays.

In exchange, the city leaders chose to remove the holiday designation from Columbus Day.
