Plane Slides Off Runway Landing at O’Hare Yesterday

It looks like it’s going to be ok and then the plane just slides right off the runway and comes to a stop. Fortunately, everyone was ok and they were evacuated.

Do you get nervous flying in the winter?  I have to say when I see them de-icing multiple times before we take off I get a little nervous.  I was talking with someone recently who said they will not fly in the winter for this very reason.  Do you choose not to fly when the weather is bad?
