Single Dad Adopts 5 Siblings to Keep Them Together

I think we all want to be able to look back on our lives and feel we made a difference in someone’s life.  Lamont Thomas can be confident he has and is continuing to make a huge difference.  He is a foster parent and has fostered over 30 kids over the years and he’s adopted some of them.

He has 12 kids and 5 of them he just adopted because they are siblings under the age of 5 and he wanted them to grow up together as brothers and sisters.  Lamont had fostered their father when he was younger, which is how he found out about the kids.  They had been separated for over a 1 1/2 years and had been in 4 different foster homes in 4 different cities before Lamont started fostering them 2 years ago.  He decided he wanted to adopt them and raise them as siblings so after a long wait, as of this month, Zendaya-5, Jamel-4, Nakia-3, Major-2 and Michaela-1 are now his children.
