Taylor Swift Releases New Song “The Archer”

Dave and Jimmy gave a sneak preview from Jimmy’s iPhone speakers this morning. While they were apprehensive at first,  they seemed to be pleasantly surprised.

During a Livestream on Tuesday, Taylor announced her new song, “The Archer,” the fifth track from her upcoming album “Lover.” For those in the know, Swift reserves the fifth track of every album for a song that’s emotional and features vulnerability. Taylor revealed that frequent collaborator, Jack Antonoff, worked with her on the track and she gave new details about the deluxe editions of Lover, which will include 120 pages from Swift’s personal diaries, an empty journal for fans to use, the CD, art, and the CD’s booklet.  “Lover” will hit Target and Taylor’s official website on August 23rd.
