Has someone in your life ruined an episode Game of Thrones by revealing details before you’ve gotten to watch? Now you can take out an insurance policy against spoilers.
The UK’s Endsleigh Insurance Services has launched Spoiler Cover, to “help provide consolation for fans who have had the plot revealed prematurely.”
The company claims they will pay out £100 ($130 USD) per person to anyone whose day has been ruined by friends, family or social media.
“Whether it’s a colleague at work who has stayed up and streamed the show at 2am, or a rogue news article giving away the story on social media – our Spoiler Cover will help provide consolation for fans who have had the plot revealed prematurely,” says Julia Alpan, Endsleigh’s head of marketing.
What steps have you taken to avoid spoilers for TV shows and movies?
