UPDATE: Flood Warning for Tuscarawas River Continued

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Flood warnings for western Stark County continue through 1:30 on Friday afternoon, with continued issues with closed streets and flooding near the Tuscarawas River.

The National Weather Service says the river continues to recede from Clinton to Navarre, but the county EMA says it takes 2 to 3 days without rain for the river to return to near normal.

There’s also a Flood Warning for southwest Summit and northeast Wayne until 1:30 p.m. Friday

All of Stark County was under a warning Thursday evening for that final big burst of rain.

There was street flooding in Canton.
