Wasp Nests Of Epic Sizes Are Popping Up

Alabama residents have a new summer nuisance to deal with – massive wasp’s nests the size of a car. Bug experts are warning of so-called ‘supernests’ that span several feet wide and can contain many thousands of wasps or yellowjackets.

They can be found attached to houses, on the ground, or even in odd hiding spots like inside a discarded mattress. Researchers say a similar infestation happened in 2006 and it could be even worse this summer.  If you come across one, don’t disturb it and call a professional.
