I have had more problems with squirrels, than any other type of wild life. It makes me feel better that I’m not the ONLY one that seems to have this problem. Chris Persic’s wife started up his SUV, and smelled something strange. Almost like something burning! When she popped the hood, she saw a bunch of walnuts and grass on top of the engine. They took it to a shop, and a mechanic found another half-a-trashcan full of walnuts under the engine. All together, over 200 walnuts were found throughout their SUV. The Persics will be removing a black walnut tree from their home in Pittsburgh. Perhaps I should do the same? The squirrels in my yard like to move my chestnuts around. Yes, those little spike balls are hidden all throughout my grass. And I am not pleased in the summer when I step on one!
