Government Shutdown Could Cut Off Food Stamps For Millions

The partial government shutdown is entering its third week, it if it doesn’t end soon, millions of people depending on food stamps might get cut off. The federal SNAP program will run out of money in February if the shutdown doesn’t end before then.  That could affect the estimated 19 million households who get assistance from food stamps. 95 percent of employees with Food and Nutrition Services, who oversees SNAP, have been furloughed during the shutdown. How long do you expect the shutdown to last?  Do you think the public blames Democrats or Republicans for the shutdown?
