10. Home Essentials
Things like laundry detergent, paper products and light bulbs aren’t covered by food assistance, so people will just take them if they need them.

I’m surprised to see office supplies on our list of the ten most stolen items from Ohio Walmart stores. Things like pens, paperclips and post it notes have little to no resale value, yet for some reason, people keep swiping them.
8. Jewelry
Walmart has most of their shiny stuff under glass, but that doesn’t stop people from walking out with bracelets, necklaces and earrings on a regular basis.
7. Apparel and Accessories
Walmart isn’t known for it’s high end clothing brands, but free is an alluring price when it comes to jeans, shoes, underwear and sunglasses.
6. Intimate Items
Maybe it’s embarrassment that keeps people from taking condoms, pregnancy tests and sex toys to the register and paying for them.
