Terminally Ill Teen With Down Syndrome Becomes Flight Attendant

American Airlines is helping a teen with Down syndrome become a flight attendant for the day. Shantell “Shannie” Pooser was born with a heart defect and multiple terminal airway defects. American Airlines threw a party for Shannie on a jet and sent her an official uniform and badge so she can dress up as a flight attendant anytime she flies.
