A teenage girl in Pennsylvania was looking for a way to cut down on car accidents and may have just found it! She entered a project into an engineering contest that has fixed the problem of blind spots in cars. She put a a tiny camera on the car next to the windshield on the passenger side. She linked it to a projector installed inside the car that will project live video ONTO THE BLIND SPOT. It plays in real time so you can actually see what is going on outside your car when your vision is blocked.
She won the engineering competition and got the grand prize of $25,000! Car companies are looking into this to offer it in cars and it may be available soon.
