Last night, the Tony Awards were special for “Glee” alum Ali Stroker. She became the first actor in a wheelchair to be nominated and to win a Tony for best-featured actress in a musical for her role as Ado Annie in “Oklahoma.”
“This award is for every kid who is watching with a disability, a limitation, a challenge, who has been waiting to see themselves represented in this arena. You are,” Ali said during her acceptance speech.
