Teen Dies in Plain Township Fire

A fire on 29th Street NE in Plain Township has taken the life of a 14-year old boy. Plain Township Firefighters responded to the home around 3:30 yesterday afternoon after getting a 9-1-1 call. The teen was pulled from the home after being discovered in his bedroom. He was taken to Akron Children’s Hospital where he died from injuries sustained in the blaze. The fire apparently started in the living room but they are still investigating.
