A country in eastern Europe is tired of people speeding on their roads.   Even though the police would give them speeding tickets they wouldn’t stop.  So Estonia is trying something new. They’re testing out a new program that they are hoping will go nationwide. When speeders are pulled over by police they are given 2 choices. They can get a ticket. Or they can get a time-out, yes, just like a toddler. Depending on how fast they were going will determine how long they will be in time-out. Basically they’ll be sitting on the side of the road for 45 minutes to an hour. The idea is that they will think about what they’ve done. At this point, they are trying it out on one main road in the country. If it is successful they will expand it to all of their roads.
